Rediscovered Photos
As I mentioned in my last post, the death of Jeanne and my attendance of the funeral made me want to to update my family tree with names and a new death date. As I was looking at Jeanne's youngest daughter's page, it had numerous hints and many of those hints were of high school pictures. I remember my mom talk fondly of Jeanne's daughter and knew they were good friends so it shouldn't have been a surprise that my mom was in nearly every single picture too. It was kind of a neat trip down memory lane that I thought I would share. Above is a picture of the Honor Society and my mom is second from the left in the front row sitting down and Jeanne's daughter is third from the left sitting down.
Above it the Drama Club and again, my mother is the girl in the very back row in the center with blonde hair and Jeanne's daughter is immediately to the right in the dark colored dress.
Finally, above is a picture of the Volleyball team and my mom is number 41 slightly right of center and again Jeanne's daughter is seated right next to her on the left.
For an added bonus to this post, although not one of Jeanne's daughter's photos, I do also have this photograph from the same yearbook where my mom was the junior prom queen.
For one more bonus, I ran it through AI to see what it could do.

What a terrific find! Your mom had a gorgeous smile.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly did!
DeleteYour mom is very pretty! It's interesting to see what AI did with the photo.
ReplyDeleteHer hair color is not quite right as it wasn't that dark but other than that, it did a good job.
DeleteWonderful memories. It's great your mom and Jeanne's daughter were so active together... honor society, drama club, softball and volleyball! I'm just amazed at the quality of the AI photo. I'm curious what program you used?
ReplyDeleteI am using Google Gemini. If you select the "thinking" option over the unlimited fast option, which they allow you to do four times a day, it says it is using something called Nano Banana Pro.
DeleteThese photos are a treasure. When did your mother graduate? I'm guessing mid-60s?
ReplyDeleteEarly 70s.
