Date With Death

Not sure what to think about this posting I saw on a bulletin board. Are they trying to motivate people into adopting the puppies with the threat to kill them if nothing happens by tomorrow or are they trying to make people sympathetic to their situation so that they fill better about killing them after trying 'everything' they could to adopt them out? Whatever the case, I'm guessing that leaving their face out of the picture was deliberate.

Unfortunately, it's reality. Maybe its purpose is to convince pet owner to spay or neuter their pets.

I've got a niece who's a vet tech for the Humane Society. She's nursed hundreds of animals back to life in her home. (Her husband is a saint, BTW.) Those workers hate euthanizing the animals more than you know. They'd rather adopt them out or spay/neuter a pet than have to do that.

Kymber - Certainly a sad post for sure.

R. Sherman - I'm not against euthanizing animals and have had to have a couple of mine euthanized for various reasons over the years. But it gets me that this person has the gall to advertise it, even if it is the right thing to do.

I saw your title and I thought, "that's a date that I hope stands me up!"

Seriously, it's sad to euthanize animals even when it's in their best interest.

Wow. That just seems kind of a crappy way to go about it.

Spay and neuter, as Bob Barker would say.
